JULY 2007
1 The 2007-2008 Distinguished Club Program and Club Success Plan begins
1 Area Governor Summer Club visits: July 1 to September 10
1 Lt. Governor of Education & Training begins giving half-CC (HCC) Awards
1 Educational contests begin:
• “Club Excellence Award”
• “Three For Three” (the first three clubs to earn 3 CL awards get gift certificates)
• “Triple Crown” (all clubs that achieve a CL, AL, and DTM during the year)
• “HPL Prize” (any individual completing an HPL by May 15)
• “Dream Team” (all seven officers trained at TLI during both seasons
• Competent Communicator FALL and ANNUAL contests begin
• “Half-CC” contest begins
1 “Toastmaster of the Year”, “Club President of the Year”, and “Area Governor of the Year” contests begin
7 Deadline: All mailed Club Officer Lists must be received at World Headquarters for DCP credit (lists but have been postmarked by June 30)
14 Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI): Verizon, 13100 Columbia Pike, Silver Spring MD, from 8:30 am to 1:15 pm.
17 “Top Three” Senior Management Meeting, 7:30 pm
21Fall Conference Committee Meeting 8:45-9:45 am;
Executive Committee Meeting, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Both meetings are at GEICO, 5260 Western Avenue, Chevy Chase MD
29 Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI): USUHS, 4301 Jones Bridge Road, Bethesda MD (enter through the gate on Wisconsin Avenue), 1:30-6:15 pm.
