Discover and share ideas that can help them improve their clubs
Continuing club officers have the opportunity to:
Participate in training sessions to complement their core training

Share experiences and solutions for those challenges with fellow club officers
Get the skills and resources officers need to successfully lead their clubs. Healthy clubs are happy clubs and happy clubs have happy members. Healthy clubs are led by officers who have been trained, and members who are working towards their personal communication development goals by regularly delivering manual speeches and getting evaluations that really count.
We have classes for everyone--training for new officers, seminars for improving your evaluation skills, tips on getting ready for contests, growing your club membership, and a host of other interesting topics.
If you are serving as a club officer for the months of July –December 2010 or July 2010-June 2011, your club is counting on you to be trained. You will be better equipped to administer the club program, and help your club meet goal #9 on the DCP plan, as well as satisfy your personal goal toward your Advanced Leader Bronze.
Come join us and learn how to execute your office, run perfect meetings, and meet your peers and the new district leadership.
Benefits of Attending TLI
Club officer training is an essential part of achieving success as a club officer. District 36 TLI sessions are a dynamic, interactive, information-and-idea filled day of training and networking. Officer participation in TLI contributes towards Goal #9 of the Distinguished Club Program (DCP) helping the club achieve success.
Enhance your ability to lead your club to success by attending the Training and Leadership (TLI) sessions. At least FOUR officers must be trained at both the Summer and Winter sessions for your club to get credit for Goal # 9 of the DCP.
Earn special recognition for your club if all seven officers attend training for Summer and Winter sessions.
Attend training electives designed to enrich your understanding as a club officer. Gain tips, techniques, and other resources and tools to share with your club members and more importantly maintain a healthy Toastmasters club.
Browse new manuals and other resources at the District’s bookstore; pick up ribbons, table topics tools, membership pins, etc. Learn about new resources your club could use to grow.
Did You Know?
If you can’t find a convenient time and place to take your training, check Districts 18 and 27 websites for their TLI sessions? You will receive credit just as if you had attended our own TLI sessions. Use the links provided for a TLI session near you. You may find their training location and dates particularly useful.
TLI Pre-Registration
We are initiating a prototype program to pre-register for TLI. This is optional and you may attend without pre-registration, but doing so will allow us to plan better to meet your needs. Pre-registration ends 24 hours before the event starts.
