Esohe Irabor
Co-Host
Esohe Irabor is a Nigerian-American public health professional. After graduating from Rhode Island College with honors in biology, she earned her PhD in Biology at Howard University. Her dissertation research was a correlative study on the impact of psychosocial stress on cardiometabolic disease expression in African American communities in the United States. After securing her doctorate, she completed the Kennedy Krieger Institute’s EMURG Health Equity Fellowship (inaugural cohort), and a stint as an Adjunct Professor of Biology at Bowie State University. Now a Public Health Laboratory Fellow (APHL-CDC), she conducts biomonitoring research in central New Jersey. Come January 2026, Esohe will begin her service as a Peace Corps Health Volunteer in Ghana and looks forward to connecting with her new community.

Latoya Skeine joined Toastmasters in 2020 and has been a passionate ambassador ever since. She has served as a leader at the club and Area levels and joined Toasty Talks as a co-host in January 2026.

Melissa Artavia Caravaca
Melissa Artavia Caravaca is a people-focused communicator with a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s in human resources management. She joined Toastmasters in October 2024 and became Vice President of Public Relations (VPPR) in July 2025, leading events that help others discover the power of public speaking. Melissa loves encouraging people to speak up, and she’s excited to co-host the Toasty Talks podcast—a dream close to her heart to share a show with a clear, helpful message.
