Taking The Lead

Pin for Dynamic Leadership Proficient achievement

By Amanda Lay, DL5, Dynamic Leadership Proficient.

I always enjoy the Toastmasters District 36 Spring conference.  The conference is one of my favorite events and is a highlight of the Toastmasters year for me.  So much so that I have attended EVERY District 36 Spring Conference since joining Toastmasters in 2003! However, attending last year’s Spring conference was particularly tremendous and special for me.

When I saw so many of my wonderfully talented friends and fellow Toastmasters being recognized for their dedication, hard work and commitment to participating in and completing their various paths in the Toastmasters Pathways educational program, I was tremendously motivated, uplifted, encouraged and inspired to continue working with determination and diligence on my Toastmasters goal.

In June, I began working on earning my Dynamic Leadership Path with a goal of completing the path before June of this year.  I am humbled and tremendously thankful to share that after nearly a year of hard work, dedication and commitment to the Toastmasters Pathways Educational Program, I have completed my Dynamic Leadership Path!

I hope that you, my wonderful fellow Toastmasters, are motivated and encouraged to progress and achieve your own goals throughout your own inspiring and impactful Toastmasters journey!
