Whether you are a contestant, judge, ballot counter, timer, contest master, or supporting leader, this training will help ensure you are informed, confident, and contest-ready.

Fall 2025 Contest Season – Evaluation Contest
On July 19, 2025, the District Executive Committee (DEC) voted that this year’s Fall contest, beginning at the Area level, will feature the Evaluation Contest—In Person Only. At the club level, you have flexibility: host your contest virtually, in person, or hybrid. But from the Area level and beyond, all contests will be in person.

Key Dates – Fall 2025

• Club Contests: Complete by October 31, 2025

• Area Contests: Complete by November 30, 2025

• Division Contests: Complete by December 31, 2025

• District Evaluation Contest: At the Spring Conference, May 2026

Spring 2026 Contest Season – International Speech Contest
Spring is all about the International Speech Contest, where members step onto a pathway that could lead all the way to the World Championship of Public Speaking. 

Key Dates – Spring 2026

• Club Contests: Complete by February 28, 2026

• Area Contests: Complete by March 31, 2026

• Division Contests: Complete by April 30, 2026

• District International Speech Contest: At the Spring Conference, May 2026
